I just recently bought two of these; I am planning on experimenting with them - growing them out as normal, and then letting them rest a short period of time. I want to change the cycle of the bulb so that it will grow and bloom during the summer. I have seen the hardy version of these advertised in garden catalogs. This would be a great plant to use with the Pot-in-Pot Method, you could then move it to a Curbside Garden when it starts to bloom. I think this would be a great addition to any tropicalesque yard.
