One purpose of this site is to get people to make the most of their yard. With gas prices and everyday living expenses on the crazy side, you can still vacation, camp and spend time in a resort. All you need is some hard work and a lot of imagination. As far as the camping thing, all I need is a fire bowl and a tent. I have the benefit of living in a remote area and don't have lights from the city to block my view of the stars. I am in a small town of 900 people and am able to see at least half of the stars, if I want to see the sky better I just need to drive a couple of miles out of town. I actually spend most of my sky gazing time watching commercial airplanes.
