Palm Tree Health

Anybody that has ever bought a palm for a houseplant knows that eventually the plant will turn yellow. A yellow looking palm is a very common problem, especially with the Majesty Palm. It appears the the biggest problem with yellowing of Majesty Palms is not enough water. Most palms sold as houseplants appear to be somewhat aquatic - they are plants that grow along rivers and in marshy areas in their native habitat. A balanced liquid fertilizer like 20-20-20 seems to also help to green up the leaves fast.
